RAINBOW KENNEL is located in scenic Cambridge,Vermont (Jeffersonville, VT mailing address), 45 minutes east of Burlington. We are about 4 hours from Boston. We specialize in American Cocker Spaniels and hybrid Cockapoos. We have been breeding beautiful quality puppies for 15 years. Our American Cocker Spaniels are bred to AKC Standards (with the exception that we no longer dock tails!) and are exceptional in temperament, health and appearance. Our popular hybrid Cockapoos are a wonderful combo of one of our toy /small mini poodle males and one of our cocker spaniel females. They are too cute for words. New this year we are planning our first litter of Standard size Cockapoos, a wonderful combo of a standard poodle female and a cocker spaniel male (see our Standard Cockapoo page). There has been a voiced demand for larger cockapoos and these should be 40 pounds or more. These pups will be nonshedding and super smart with the typical Cockapoo look in a larger package. All of our puppies have wonderful family-oriented friendly temperaments. Most are ball chasers by nature! We promote responsible pet ownership, give advice freely and sell all pet puppiess with a spay/neuter agreement. We do place puppies in families with young children, however we recommend male puppies to families with children under age 8 (its not ingrained in stone, please call and I will tell you why males are preferable for young children.) It is our recommendation (though not a requirement) that the youngest child in the family be 4 years old before considering a puppy. All pups are thoroughly vet checked, have first vaccination(s), are dewormed and have a full one-year health warrantee for congenital defects and hereditary disease starting on pickup date. We have an excellent reputation for providing families with healthy parasite free puppies.
( **New)Payment terms: 1/2 Purchase Price down as deposit, 1/2 due at puppy pickup. Cash, bank check or money order(bank or postal only) or paypal (chargecard or debit card) for deposit. Cash for final payment at pickup or paypal payment several days in advance of pickup (we must verify receipt). Sorry no personal checks are accepted (sometimes exceptions made for deposits). We are now able to accept charge card or debit card payments thru PAYPAL (no checks thru paypal please they take 2 weeks to clear). Note: When you put a deposit on a puppy, make sure you clear your schedule to be able to pick it up at 8 weeks. Puppies under deposit are ready to go at 8 weeks, there will be a charge ($10 per day) for puppies left longer no matter what the reason (snow storms not included!). If I don't answer your email in what you feel is a reasonable time frame please call me as the email may have gotten lost in my bulk mail. Because we are in the horse barn at times and have been missing phone calls, we have voice mail capabilities on our phone and unlimited long distance throughout the US and Canada so if we don't answer the phone please leave a message, your phone# and the best time to reach you.
